ARE YOUR TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES ADEQUATE

The Nationals Federal Member for Mallee John Forrest says it is not too late to make a submission to the Regional Telecommunications Independent Review.
He said phone and internet users throughout regional and rural Australia including Mallee Electorate can make submissions on the quality and issues with their telecommunications services until 11 December 2011.
“The Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee (RTIRC) is conducting one of its regular reviews into the adequacy of telecommunications, with particular attention to what consumers need to take advantage of the digital economy,” Mr Forrest said.
“Anyone with an interest in regional telecommunications, individuals, health providers, syudents and businesses, should have their say. The more feedback the better.
“The more isolated the area, the greater the need for up-to-the-minute communications and with the current rate of technological development, it’s vital that we help shape the future.
“If we have a say, we’re more likely to get the services we want,” Mr Forrest said.
Details of the review and how to make a submission can be found at http://www.rtirc.gov.au/.
